Colleagues in West Virginia have published outcome data from their school-based intervention efforts. The Trauma-Informed Elementary Schools (TIES) program, an innovative approach based on ACES research and the ARC framework, provides training and support to classrooms. Evaluation of 51 classrooms indicated that those classes receiving the TIES intervention had significantly greater improvements in indicators of positive classroom environment than those not receiving the intervention.
